All activities take place at 90, De La Gauchetière Est, in the Mise au Jeu space, 2nd floor (Champ-de-Mars or Saint-Laurent metro), except as indicated)
For the second consecutive year, from March 5th to 14th, RQS will host a week of events surrounding gender and sexuality, featuring workshops (art, activism, fun…), performances, debates, parties, film screenings, an art exhibit space, direct action, collective kitchens and a game of “Capture the Fag”!
This week is open to all: queers, lesbians, trans people, gays, feminists, intersex people, cross-dressers, bisexuals, bisexuals, sex workers, and their friends and supporters. This year, our focus is on inclusiveness in the queer movement, with workshops from several groups presenting a wide perspective on queerness and social and political involvement. All events are free or by voluntary donation.
Our goal is to occupy a common space during these ten days, free from heterosexism, sexual repression and other dynamics of oppression. We wish to benefit from this time to debate, have fun, learn, exchange, politicize, network and organize our upcoming struggles.
Whisper translation will be provided for all workshops. You are welcome to express yourself in either French or English
